Romanians and Hungarians had on Sunday at Pecica, a "culinary war." The fight is likely to remain in gastronomic history of the place.
Like a real war, opponents were posted face to face. On one part, the seven Romanian teams and on the other part three Hungarian teams, the Battonya, Domaszék and Csanádpalota. 10 pigs were given, sliced by each team separately. Then began the real battle, the preparation of sausages. Finally, the judges tasted the products and because they could not choose a single winner has left the public appetite to partake of all products.
The event, entitled "Pomana porcului" is at the second edition and was organized by local authorities of Pecica.
