Three companies disappear each day

In the past 20 years tens of thousands of companies from Arad disappeared from the market economy.
Arad  economic environment lost , every day, in the last 20 years, on average, three traders. Lack of liquidity or orders, owners of companies have decided to pull the shutters over the grown business and shift, leaving room for others to develop entrepreneurship.

Open borders, free movement of goods, or simply the West mirage have made, after December 1990, to appear tens of thousands of companies in Arad’s economic market. Unfortunately business success disappointment came as fast.

From December 1990 to October 2011, Arad’s business man have registered 53.502 companies, according to the Trade Register, but almost 22.000 have ended up being canceled.

The situation was, however, more difficult for entrepreneurs in recent years when world crisis caused the number of registrations to be equal or even exceeded by that of canceled companies. In October 2011, the last report, Arad has lost 119 companies, while another 197 have appeared on the market. Signs are indicating a return of confidence in business investment, but, however, cannot say that Arad launches major investment. Neither foreigners are no longer bringing important capital in the economy of Arad, even if the number of companies with foreign capital entering Arad’s economy is big every month.
